Where to stay in Moscow

The capital of Russia and a huge metropolis, Moscow offers a plethora of different types of accommodations. Many renowned hotel chains are represented in the city, and some of its hotels rank among the world's most luxurious and expensive. Those traveling on a more modest budget can choose among the boutique or Soviet-era hotels. There are also numerous hostels and short-term rental apartments throughout the city. When choosing a place to stay, especially if you're only planning for a short visit, always bear in mind the size of Moscow. Staying too far from the center might mean that the precious time you could spend on sightseeing will be wasted in traffic and transport.

  • Unusually interesting excursion. Small group and an excellent guide. Elena has managed in its tours to find a comfortable balance between the historical component, art and science. Not overloaded memorized anecdotes and delightful language. It's such a rarity these days ...

  • This is one of my favorite buildings in Moscow. Really wanted to be there with excursion. Ordered on the website of the State Library. The tour itself conduct the library staff. Group excursions are small, we had 10 people. Of course, domestic interiors have not survived, but the history of this House. is unusual. Those parts of the ceiling and walls that can be recreated at a clock. Very interesting and informative story, 2.5 hours have flown by imperceptibly.
