  • The fate of this architect is tragic. There are anecdotal reports that he suffered from severe depression due to the fact that the Advice deprived him of the chance to work. And as if lying in a psychiatric hospital. Kekushev was fruitful, but villas built to his designs, and died after Restructure. Fortunately, many mansions were allocated under the embassies and consulates. Only that and saved the House from destruction. This elegant Mansion is one of the works Kekusheva in Moscow. Interesting its corner loggia with grotesque column. But the most popular element of the architect, perhaps, was the large arched Windows with decorative ridges.

  • Mansion in Glazovskom Lane, architect Lev Kekushev built for himself in the late 19th century. Now it is known as Otto mansion Sheet named its next owner. This building is easy to find, it is next to the MIDovskoj vysotkoj between the garden ring and cash lane. Now there's mission of Kaluga oblast in the Russian Government, i.e. to examine building can only come from the outside. In the decoration of the building combines stone and brick, the magnificent mosaics. One of the mosaics, which looks toward the cash Lane, depicts a lion. The architect liked to decorate their built image of this animal in accordance with its name. You can note the beautiful window rectangular and semicircular shape.

  • The building seemed very nice. One of the first buildings in Russia in what was once a "modern" style novomodnom ... The mansion was built in the late 19th century and at the beginning of last-sold the Otto sheet merchant-industrialist-Honorable citizen. Now this honorary citizen in the building located in the Kaluga region Government Representation to the Government of the Russian Federation. I wonder from whom, and for how much of the budget the Government is not very rich rubles of Kaluga region rents the building? And why? In a sense, does not rent, and why the Office in Moscow at all? Go from Kaluga far? Yes, as much as 180 kilometers.
