Where to stay in Moscow

The capital of Russia and a huge metropolis, Moscow offers a plethora of different types of accommodations. Many renowned hotel chains are represented in the city, and some of its hotels rank among the world's most luxurious and expensive. Those traveling on a more modest budget can choose among the boutique or Soviet-era hotels. There are also numerous hostels and short-term rental apartments throughout the city. When choosing a place to stay, especially if you're only planning for a short visit, always bear in mind the size of Moscow. Staying too far from the center might mean that the precious time you could spend on sightseeing will be wasted in traffic and transport.

  • The place is a bit crowded and there aren't many things to see. There's no point of going there if you don't know Russian
  • Interesting !
  • The Bulgakov Museum is set in his old Moscow apartment where he lived from 1921 until 1924, and where parts of his great novel, The Master and Margarita were set.
  • Nice place.
  • Unfortunately, on tour, on Thursday the museum works to 21-00, just walked and looked flat, going to 100% get on tour, because without interesting narratives and stories about the life of writer little understood and, in General, that's not so interesting. In the premises of a strong smell of "Antiquities", black cat lies peacefully and dremet on chairs Café, which is located in one of the rooms. If you simply spend the evening in unusual surroundings, most times.
