Where to stay in Moscow

The capital of Russia and a huge metropolis, Moscow offers a plethora of different types of accommodations. Many renowned hotel chains are represented in the city, and some of its hotels rank among the world's most luxurious and expensive. Those traveling on a more modest budget can choose among the boutique or Soviet-era hotels. There are also numerous hostels and short-term rental apartments throughout the city. When choosing a place to stay, especially if you're only planning for a short visit, always bear in mind the size of Moscow. Staying too far from the center might mean that the precious time you could spend on sightseeing will be wasted in traffic and transport.

  • An interesting Museum. The only schedule visits difficult. Mon to Thu 9-17, Fri and 9-16. On sat and Sun, unfortunately, the Museum does not work. The Museum will be very interesting for children as well as their parents) so if you can carve out the time.

  • RUS: Museum of the history of water supply of the city, where handwritten ordinances first demonstrated the Russian emperors on the establishment of water supply system of the city depicts layouts of buildings and structures, examples of pipes and purification devices. In total, the Museum is a modest, but if you adapt it with a modern twist and add interactivity (with diagrams, graphs and data), put an opportunity to operate the stands with processes associated with water, the Museum will turn out wonderful! One of the few city museums, which are free to visit. ENG: Museum of the history of the city water supply, which demonstrated handwritten orders of first Russian emperors of the establishing of a water supply system in the city, shows the layouts of structures and buildings, examples of tubes and cleaning instruments. In general, a museum is frugal, but if the adapt it to the modern way and add interactivity (computers with diagrams, graphs and datas), put, stands with the ability to manage those or other processes related to water, the museum may be really great! One of the few museums in the city, which is absolutely free to visit.
