  • A cool "cool" hipster place, but most machines are the same and do not work as they should do. I remember much more fun when I was little Jurgij :) Disappointment. Entry fee 450rb/pers.  more »

  • Great place to play 80s and 90s Soviet arcade machines! It's interesting how these machines focus on different subjects compared to Western machines, and how primitive the technology was by comparison. E.g., some of these Soviet arcade machines from the late 80s, early 90s have graphics that make a NES or Sega Master System look modern by comparison even though these are home systems and arcade machines are generally more advanced. Nice atmosphere and most games work well.
  • Its a private interactive historical museum, My son liked it enormously. He is a game addict so iit means - it was REALLY good.
  • As an American it was very interesting to see what games they had over in Russia. I am a big fan of classic arcade games from America so it was nice to come here and have a completely unique experience and be able to actually try out the games they have. My date brought me here, and she enjoyed it even more. She grew up on these early games so it was exciting to see her relive the memories of her childhood. As you can expect 40 years of age has not been kind to most of the machines. Most of them work, but most don't work as they did 40 years ago. The shooting games the calibration is way off and you can expect to play 1 game just to figure out where you need to shoot to actually score a hit. We really enjoyed the air basketball game where you push the ball into the other persons basket by hitting numbers that are on the board. It was a lot of fun and I hope to take her back again to give her a rematch.
  • Excellent place to go both if you're a traveler and a local
  • Very interesting and unusual museum. In here you can find and play soviet arcade video games far away from electronic and contemporary one. Most of them were mechanical instead of made of bit. Very very nice experience for a small price and the possibility also to have something to drink and eat at the bar inside.

Where to stay in Moscow

The capital of Russia and a huge metropolis, Moscow offers a plethora of different types of accommodations. Many renowned hotel chains are represented in the city, and some of its hotels rank among the world's most luxurious and expensive. Those traveling on a more modest budget can choose among the boutique or Soviet-era hotels. There are also numerous hostels and short-term rental apartments throughout the city. When choosing a place to stay, especially if you're only planning for a short visit, always bear in mind the size of Moscow. Staying too far from the center might mean that the precious time you could spend on sightseeing will be wasted in traffic and transport.
