  • This is the place for those who are tired of the new who wants to visit the old Moscow. When I first got here, it was a full feeling that I got into the movie "pokrovskie Vorota": the old courtyard, the sounds of violins (near-facing luxurious façade on Prechistenku former Polivanovskaja gymnasium, now became a music school). Yes, probably, not in Moscow such courtyards «multitude, so not all of it is interesting. And for the inhabitants of the metropolis it is a real miracle. A miracle that survived, rather than demolished and replaced by an office building.

  • This is a very beautiful mansion in the heart of Moscow, with a completely charming, quiet courtyard if takes us into another era. This is a real traditional Moscow farmstead, with everything put-Manor House, wings, housed in a shed, even partially surviving domestic church. In this manor housed famous men's Polivanovskaja gymnasium. Be sure to remember the great Chess Champion Alekhine, he studied in this school.

  • I'm not against authentic courtyards, but this is not the case. It's just some dubious slums, buildings-located Horseshoe, supposedly "artistic" workshops and opposite-residential part (not envy its inhabitants). Tiny space, all forced by machines that roam the incomprehensible "creative" person. From a place I want to quickly leave. And there are no auras, as there is no faceless dump it into any. Previously, there were stables and now place the horses took people. About that mind here 100 years there was no repair, even Needless to say. But really, this place could have an entirely different appearance and status, but not in Moscow. Believe me, I'm a lover of different unusual places, wandering and Christiania, but then do nothing. Though previously noted as potentially worthy of attention and found.
