Where to stay in Moscow

The capital of Russia and a huge metropolis, Moscow offers a plethora of different types of accommodations. Many renowned hotel chains are represented in the city, and some of its hotels rank among the world's most luxurious and expensive. Those traveling on a more modest budget can choose among the boutique or Soviet-era hotels. There are also numerous hostels and short-term rental apartments throughout the city. When choosing a place to stay, especially if you're only planning for a short visit, always bear in mind the size of Moscow. Staying too far from the center might mean that the precious time you could spend on sightseeing will be wasted in traffic and transport.

  • Architectural-artistic ensemble of the late 18th and early 19th century in the District of Lyublino Moscow. To get to the farmstead can easily walk from the Metro station Volga. In fact, attention should be paid to the only Palace, a magnificent example of architecture of the late XVIII-early XIX century, which is a Museum, it is part of the joint Museum-reserve, comprising in addition Kolomenskoye and Izmailovo. Well restored Palace is well worth a go inside, its interior is impressive. By the way, the price is significantly lower than in other houses, I paid 200R, among them 50 p for the right photography. The Interior of the Palace looks very rich. No wonder, because the boss, in which here bustled, Nikolai Alekseevich Durasov, was a very wealthy man. In addition to the impressive interior, inside there is an exposition of the household at the time. Other buildings on the estate is occupied by various organizations. Park, in fact, nothing is notable.

  • Palace and Manor of N.a. Durasova in Lyublino was built as an entertainment and entertainment facility. There you can see the decoration of the Museum inside and walk around in the Park.
