Where to stay in Moscow

The capital of Russia and a huge metropolis, Moscow offers a plethora of different types of accommodations. Many renowned hotel chains are represented in the city, and some of its hotels rank among the world's most luxurious and expensive. Those traveling on a more modest budget can choose among the boutique or Soviet-era hotels. There are also numerous hostels and short-term rental apartments throughout the city. When choosing a place to stay, especially if you're only planning for a short visit, always bear in mind the size of Moscow. Staying too far from the center might mean that the precious time you could spend on sightseeing will be wasted in traffic and transport.

  • Probably, the whole review fit in the title. I couldn't hold back the tears during his visit. Recommend to anyone who likes the creativity of Mikhail Yuryevich, although I think in this case, and recommendations are not necessary.

  • Visited the Museum in January 2017 onwards. Full ticket without benefits for adults is worth 150 USD, photographed on the phone for free, no words are not said. A small house with an attic. Here the young poet lived three years with 15 to 18 years. Lived with my grandmother. For visitors are available on the ground floor of the vestibule with a memorial plaque with demolished the House where the poet was born. In its place now Krasnye Vorota metro station. And near the monument, the jacket that "who puts it, he's the same monument. The grandmother's room, small and large living room. In the living room on the walls of the drawings, watercolors and paintings by Mikhail Lermontov. He was also a great artist. Just on the walls hang a portrait of little Misha and portraits of his mother and grandmother. In the attic (2 floor)-poet. Ascetic atmosphere. Daybed with a guitar, Chair, bookcase, chess table, Bureau and easel with painting watercolors. This is Mikhail Lermontov redrew the portrait of his father with the oil cloth. The Museum is small but soulful. The important thing is not to get on the invasion of schoolchildren, with them in small rooms will not be overcrowded, and photograph will be problematic. Across the street from the House-Museum monument-bust by m. Lermontov sculptor a. An. And not far from the Museum of the cutest Camper Pushkin sculptor Rukavishnikov. True, he closed the fence.

  • Novi Albert Street home when the writers represented by the big bookshop domknighi located behind the "hero of Lermontov spent in Moscow has become a museum. Drew the Lermontov's other furniture in the room, instruments used, the notes and the writer to think not you can comprehend. Only Russia seemed speak and read this guide for those who are called from other staff, could communicate in English. Understanding of the exhibit rooms because each room has commentary in English and Chinese, are available.
