Izmailovsky Park, Moscow
(4.1/5 based on 260+ reviews on the web)
Bike, rollerskate, go horseback riding, or rent a boat and sail across one of the many ponds at Izmailovsky Park. Originally designed as a model economy by Tsar Aleksei Mikhailovich in the early 1600s, the park housed more than 700 peasant families. The numerous manmade ponds, as well as one of the main attractions of the park--the Pokhorovosky Cathedral on Silver Island--were completed in 1679. Ride one of two large Ferris wheels, rent skis and skates seasonally, and explore the adjacent artisan market. The park is easily accessible via public transportation, and public restrooms are available for a fee. By using our Moscow vacation planner, you can arrange your visit to Izmailovsky Park and other attractions in Moscow.

  • The perfect place to hike with their children. Were there with the child in the output. Get as if in a fairy tale in the fairy Kingdom. We trawled, pofotkalis', played the child was happy. Still there were various museums, but we don't have time, that day we had enough heavy programme.

  • Take the Metro blue line, and get off at Partizanskaya station, exit the station, turn left and follow the crowd, less than 500 metres you will see the faux Kremlin towers. Give preference to ida over the weekend, when all the exhibitors there are and also has other activities such as concerts etc. There you'll find several kioskes of food with tables on the patio and near the souvenir stalls. Walk a little by the site, which is great and you will find several museums and antique shops. The complex is beautiful, but I noticed a bit of carelessness, as if in decline, which would be a shame because the wooden constructions are beautiful and colorful. The pictures come out even more beautiful than the real Kremlin. In this space you will find many typical products of Russia as matrioscas, fur caps, Fabergé eggs, and some made in China of course. the prices are reasonable considering the prices of the Arbat street.

  • Visited izmaylovsky Park and the Kremlin with market Izmajlovskim November 5, 2016 onwards. Great impressions! Souvenir shops, artists ' Alley with paintings, museums, everything is available and close to our residence at Vega. Enjoyed the shop with zhostovskimi trays, good discounts on manual painting. Impressed pottery from Boleslawiec Polish city where the buried heart of Kutuzov. And the Russian vodka museum-pass by simply not realistic, especially in cold weather.
