Izmailovsky Park, Moscow

(4.1/5 based on 280+ reviews on the web)
Bike, rollerskate, go horseback riding, or rent a boat and sail across one of the many ponds at Izmailovsky Park. Originally designed as a model economy by Tsar Aleksei Mikhailovich in the early 1600s, the park housed more than 700 peasant families. The numerous manmade ponds, as well as one of the main attractions of the park--the Pokhorovosky Cathedral on Silver Island--were completed in 1679. Ride one of two large Ferris wheels, rent skis and skates seasonally, and explore the adjacent artisan market. The park is easily accessible via public transportation, and public restrooms are available for a fee. • I love this park! Large, spacious. There is a Ferris wheel (view from it so-so, but for romantic walks very cute entertainment), a pond where you can go for a swim in the boat with the pink light of the sunset, there are machines with sweet wool and other Park vkusnjashkami for children-trampolines, entertainment. Close to the Park, the station partizanskaya-Kremlin in Izmaylovo. You can combine trips. The area of the Park very big-it is a paradise for cycling, walking, rollerblading, etc.

  • The Park is very large. Green in summer. Winter was not. A lot of tracks. Walk all there from small to large. And young mothers and pensioners. There are benches and trash. Overall a very good place.

  • The Park is very suitable for walks and reflection, in winter is very beautiful and I want to be there for a long time. Walking in the Park, you can find out what it's flora and fauna. At night when there is snow in the Park, then go from there do not want at all, as if you get into a winter wonderland, as if you're not in Moscow, and in a forest fairy and this better shoeing TU shoes in which you will feel comfortable walking for a long time.
