  • The majestic Bell Tower of the Church is a historical monument of the 16 century. This is now part of the Museum of the Moscow Kremlin. With Gallery you can see the beautiful surroundings of the Kremlin. Nearby is a huge Tsar-kolokol, never the caller.

  • The Belfry of Ivan the great or Ivan III of Russia, was founded in 1600 and is right there in the Cathedral Square, completing the beautiful architectonic set. The two lower floors have walls with a thickness of 2.5 m to 5 m. The height of this belfry is 81 meters. This tower of white walls has on top a golden dome and is the tallest building of the Kremlin. Do not climb because they were around 330 steps, impossible for two people over 60 tired of walking. Must have a wonderful view.

  • As was the character of Ivan the great (Ivan IV) was brought to the selfish, possessive start I strongly don't listen. High this tower any more is not built. There are references to authoritarian rule in Mongolia that overlapped in the timing exactly the break from the yoke of the Tatar (Mongol domination), Emperor of Russia and, not. The building itself is gone and well designed, very nice. When I visited went on the 1st floor exhibition and sale of precious metals.

  • In the very centre of Moscow on the Cathedral square of Kremlin there situated the bell tower of St. John Climacus, more known as the Ivan the Great bell tower. It unites all the ancient temples of Moscow Kremlin into one whole architectural ensemble. In 2008 the temple celebrated its 500th birthday. The first church was built in this place in 1329 as a tower for John Climacus’s bell.
  • Horrible, view is quite good, but the guide though he spoke English and almost full English tour group, has to be prodded to give any information in English. Certainly not worth the 250 rubles or the time to get there.
  • Great views of Moscow, but odd opening schedule. Double check with the website for hours
  • Beautiful place
