  • This museum was 8 years ago, and then decided to go again. The exposition has changed over the years. It seems to me that before basically hung paintings with mystical scenes: riders in the sky, travellers in Halo ... At this time was dominated by landscapes. The Museum is very interesting! Each room is decorated differently: the blue room with antique reliefs, yellow room with a wooden carved cornice, dark blue Hall with lights in the walls. Plays soft music. The atmosphere is soothing. In addition to the completely unimaginable shining pictures with mountains, you can see items: beads, bracelets, decorative boxes, chess, clothing of travelers, letters and photographs. One of the rooms is dedicated to the symbol of peace. The tremendous visjashhem the globe noted checkboxes where he visited-at both poles, in different countries, and even in space! Wonderfully renovated mansion. No wonder the Museum noted for this award! Here often arrange musical evenings and lectures. Once I was on one of the evenings. The Quartet then playing ancient musical instruments. The only thing that upset-during March events selectively "arrested" many paintings. In the halls and hang ropes on which they were attached. In each room we were approached workers demonstrated in electronic catalogues what painting hung on the empty field, so we can feel the composition room. After the seizure of the paintings violate the balance of stains and colors. Hope everything would be settled and the Museum not trusts. He's wonderful!

  • Surprisingly great place!)) In comparison with the Hermitage Museum Tretyakov Gallery or relatively small: about ten-fifteen halls, each of which is unique and beautiful in its own way!)) Everything, every thought-out exposition: the location of the paintings, sculptures, photographs, personal belongings and to color design Hall, wall decorations and niches. From the outset, delighted with Hall a symbol of sacred fire in the bowl and wonderful paintings. Originated with the World Association of proof described in semifinals of Antarovoj in the book "two lives"! And we were very lucky with the Guide: Egor in great detail, told us about the biography of the Roerichs, Pro features paintings, about the relationship of the Roerichs with teachers ... Very memorable paintings from the series "Himalaya" and diagrams, pictures of "Leading", "long live the King" and "Sergius-Builder"! ... What juicy mix colors! I'm delighted and amazed!)) But as stated the mountains! So who out there in the mountains, lucky enough to visit navevaetsja-surely sweet nostalgia ... And we are not yet making go and see such beauty firsthand, after paintings by n. k. Roerich wants to collect bags and go now!)) Very inspiring works! And remember this Buddhist Stupa Museum!)) I was told that the stupa real acting!)) And that can be bypassed around it a few times, sincerely asking to God with a dream or wish and it will come true!;) In General, it is now my favorite place in Moscow! Will try to visit it in each visit!:) And all advise!;)

Where to stay in Moscow

The capital of Russia and a huge metropolis, Moscow offers a plethora of different types of accommodations. Many renowned hotel chains are represented in the city, and some of its hotels rank among the world's most luxurious and expensive. Those traveling on a more modest budget can choose among the boutique or Soviet-era hotels. There are also numerous hostels and short-term rental apartments throughout the city. When choosing a place to stay, especially if you're only planning for a short visit, always bear in mind the size of Moscow. Staying too far from the center might mean that the precious time you could spend on sightseeing will be wasted in traffic and transport.
