  • Wonderful to wander aimlessly among all these Mossy, Vozdvizhenok and Prechistenok with Arbatami ... So many unusual buildings. And this marvelous Palace very nicely fits in the Moscow eclectic!

  • My favorite building on Novy Arbat. customer and first owner of the mansion at Vozdvizhenka, known as the House of friendship-young and eccentric Arseny Morozov (cousin nephew of Savva Morozov) visited at the beginning of the 1890 's in Sintra. He was so impressed Castle Palasiu da Pena, that ordered to build the "same" to his friend and companion, architect a. Mazyrinu. Of course, the mansion at Vozdvizhenka does not copy Castle in Sintra, but rather a general collective image of unusual buildings, which can be seen in Portugal. But the presence of the Manueline style in the building obviously: Horseshoe arch, jewelry in the form of knotted ropes nodes. Very stylish building, must see

  • The building is unusual for Moscow architecture. Made in Moorish style with elements of Art Nouveau and eclectic. Impossible to pass by without drawing attention to it.
