  • Chekhov's House really stands out on this busy road. Inside it is so peaceful and is one of the few museums I have visited in Moscow that has genuinely helpful and kind staff. I had some questions and...  more »

  • Quite an interesting Museum, but has minor, but still cons: firstly, it is as always the pesky Rangers Museum (simply don't pay attention to them); Secondly, not all the exhibits can be approached, i.e. some interesting room closed and you can only see them from afar. And so just the Museum is very bad, not even remained more less pleasant impressions!

  • It was very interesting to go to Sunday. Cozy little mansion. The Museum is very interesting, especially liked the handwritten drawings to magazines

  • Visitor in each Hall in sujut hands wrapped in plastic, a piece of paper with the text of Chekhov. Paper money, zahvatannaja hands hundreds of hapless visitors. For each movement of the visitors watch the surly housekeeper, watching strictly, taking pictures is not allowed. Atmosphere in the House with the dead. Chekhov this strange format and this becomes quite evident in the last room (which you somehow get through a scene), where several posters you can read quotes contemporaries Anton Pavlovich, Anton Pavlovich looked and talked, and how he behaved with people. And in this same Hall, there is a secret exit, which customers need to find to get out of the Museum (it turns out not all)
