Gorky's House (Ryabushinsky Mansion) features a collection of the writer's personal items, as well as his rich library. The mansion is an exquisite example of early 20th-century Art Nouveau. Fyodor Shekhtel designed the house as a work of art for a rich industrialist, and Stalin later gave it to Gorky in 1931. Inside, admire the sculpted doorways, stained-glass windows, and ceiling murals. Notice the orchid frieze that runs all around the house. The carved stone staircase is a highlight, which features naturalist elements, such as flowers, snails, and jellyfish.   • Very beautiful building work Shekhtel. A fine example of Art Nouveau. Work on the stairs, and Wrubel attended stained glass Vinogradov.

  • Very interesting excursions, which help understand personality, family, life of the writer. All items are authentic, visited in the hands of Gorky. Very interesting photos and personal collections. Of course, interesting and luxurious himself ryabushinsky mansion-with its famous staircase and hidden from the prying eyes of strict old believers ' Chapel.
