  • Today visited the Patriarch's Palace, where it's not happened. Overall impression: great! Paint story Chambers began in 1652, with the Decree of Patriarch Nikon to build on the site of the Metropolitan three-storey courtyard houses and the Church of the twelve apostles, there is little point, as can be read in any guidebook to the Kremlin. What happened at the Russian masters-can be seen during a tour of the Kremlin. When you visit Chambers note the year 1672 thumbnail "Phillips Chamber. The boyars and clergy elected to announce the Kingdom of Mikhail Romanov ", as well as the vestments of Patriarch Nikon, available in the Museum. By the way, December 8, 2017 year on February 25, 2018 year in the exhibition hall of the patriarchal Palace is located the second part of the exhibition "Lords of the ocean. Treasures of the Portuguese Empire from the 16th-18th centuries ", the first part of the exhibition is located in the exhibition hall of the Assumption of the Ivan the great Bell Tower Belfries were casted here.

Is there were a lot of people are stopping off at entrance to building is difficult to understand, but in in the museum looks like and the works of art were exhibited. It is not crowded, so slowly was seen.

  • Although premises for the Muscovite metropolitan had existed in the Kremlin ever since the 14th century, Patriarch Nikon, who aspired to rival the tsar in authority and magnificence, had them replaced with a much more ambitious residence, centered on a spacious chamber in the form of the cross, once used as a banqueting hall but now serving as a museum of applied arts. To this structure adjoins from the south a domestic church of the patriarchs, originally consecrated to Philip the Apostle until the dedication was altered to the present one in 1682.
  • A very nice tour can be done through the whole place, fully recommended for a sunny day!
  • Beautiful place. Better to take the guided tour to hear the story of the buildings and interesting facts.
  • Advice you to visit.
