  • Were with friends. Despite the careful attitude to the memory of the ancestors, visiting the Museum left mixed feelings. Such sensations as if caught in a temple. There is not enough communication with our deceased grandfathers. Exhibition of military equipment-the following criticism. Pile of incomprehensible without interactivity. There is a level of Museum people waiting for the winner! Feeling that enmeshed in Soviet times.

  • Patriotic, grandiose, superb ... But ... Not hooked (((eternal glory veterans departed and surviving! But it seems to me that in this centrovom place in the halls of great battles of this war, should be the real picture (Panorama), rather than "finishing touches" on walls and somehow in all this, these get lost. No soul and spirit Mamayev Kurgan, Sapun Gora, Borodino, Kerch (Adzhimushkaj) ... Too large memorials. But there's more. On the back there tingle when you come up to them. This is not the case here (((

  • Extraordinary. I also recommend strongly visiting the WWII military hardware, weapons, tanks, planes and boats in the back of the museum. It is in the park and defintily worth it.
  • Absolutely fantastic. Loved it. When I went there, there was still a lot of snow on the ground walking around and was able to walk through mock trenches With the cold and snow made it feel as though you was experienceing the real thing. Would recommend this place to anybody . A must see place if visiting Moscow
  • Great modern museum telling the story focusing on the Soviet involvement in WWII, with exhibits using several media and very interesting artifacts. There's no doubt here about who the good guys were.
  • One of the best museums in Moscow. Shows you the main battles of the WWII and even allows you to be "inside" them (if you go there you will know what I mean). Splendid collection of war artifacts and one part of the museum dedicated to the occupation of Berlin.
  • Russians are really proud about their war history. And this museum is one of its evidence reserve at least 3-4 hours for quick tour.
