A couple of years ago I loved to just walk over the bridge and bring your friends here-aliens! Now try to avoid navigating this bridge-Windows dirty, smells like urine, bored security guard poluspit and is unlikely to be able to timely help, if suddenly you need! There is no sense of security!

The bridge opened in September 1997 year-to the 850 anniversary of Moscow. And since then, in my subjective opinion, it's too overrated as a point of interest. On the ground floor there is a current moving walkways, although any functionality not bear, they are just there to eat ... By Taras Shevchenko promenade offers a good view of Moscow city. Especially beautiful at night. But the bridge itself has no effect. On a sunny day near the glass walls on the ground floor are very stuffy, greenhouse effect does not breathe properly. Is unpleasant. Sit down to eat will be difficult. Half of the shops are closed, apparently, rent is unreasonably expensive))) Really don't want to go there again. Once looked and that's enough.

Bagration pedestrian bridge connects the Kutuzovsky Prospekt and embankment. Taras Shevchenko with Moscow City project [citation needed] and the Metro station "Exhibition". Good and sensible idea, but ... .... Why by mid-summer have not washed the Windows (views to the city and the river well none), the transition from Park with a monument to Pyotr Bagration to the tower "2000" and the bridge is closed, the elevators don't work, one of the 4-th moving walkways not working 75% of shops is not working of public catering operates at one point bridge!???

Where to stay in Moscow

The capital of Russia and a huge metropolis, Moscow offers a plethora of different types of accommodations. Many renowned hotel chains are represented in the city, and some of its hotels rank among the world's most luxurious and expensive. Those traveling on a more modest budget can choose among the boutique or Soviet-era hotels. There are also numerous hostels and short-term rental apartments throughout the city. When choosing a place to stay, especially if you're only planning for a short visit, always bear in mind the size of Moscow. Staying too far from the center might mean that the precious time you could spend on sightseeing will be wasted in traffic and transport.
