Architectural Building Landmark
At All-Russian Exhibition Center, see what was intended to be a celebration of Soviet achievement and grounds of the World Fair. This permanent expo was established in 1935 and was supposed to be built for the 1937 fair, but was not completed until 1939. The sprawling pavilions created on the grounds represent various cities and Soviet states, including Ukraine, Armenia, and Belarus. Today, the site houses about 400 buildings and is home to festivals, fairs, concerts, and other cultural events. While here, you can stroll its expansive walkways and stop to admire fountains. All-Russian Exhibition Center is just one of the many highlights you can arrange to see using our world travel planner, Moscow Edition.

Where to stay in Moscow

The capital of Russia and a huge metropolis, Moscow offers a plethora of different types of accommodations. Many renowned hotel chains are represented in the city, and some of its hotels rank among the world's most luxurious and expensive. Those traveling on a more modest budget can choose among the boutique or Soviet-era hotels. There are also numerous hostels and short-term rental apartments throughout the city. When choosing a place to stay, especially if you're only planning for a short visit, always bear in mind the size of Moscow. Staying too far from the center might mean that the precious time you could spend on sightseeing will be wasted in traffic and transport.

  • One of the most impressive parks and places of interest in Moscow. I really like the way it got renovated too.
  • VDNKH is the right name for this place. It's a habitual leisure place where you will find a lot of attractions, such as strolling around, riding bikes and skates, visiting different exhibitions and even wedding.
  • A very nice place to spend your free time at. There are two beautiful fountains and multiple exhibitions happening all the time. The park is decorated with many flowers and has many restaurants and cafes to relax at. There are many attractions available for people of all ages at the theme park located on the site.
  • Beautiful park, filled with amazing architectural mementos from the soviet era. Great for walks with family and friends, riding bikes and scooters.
  • Love this place! 🙌 Huge! Monumental! Calming 😊 Great sounds of USSR music 🎶 All the way up!
