At All-Russian Exhibition Center, see what was intended to be a celebration of Soviet achievement and grounds of the World Fair. This permanent expo was established in 1935 and was supposed to be built for the 1937 fair, but was not completed until 1939. The sprawling pavilions created on the grounds represent various cities and Soviet states, including Ukraine, Armenia, and Belarus. Today, the site houses about 400 buildings and is home to festivals, fairs, concerts, and other cultural events. While here, you can stroll its expansive walkways and stop to admire fountains. All-Russian Exhibition Center is just one of the many highlights you can arrange to see using our world travel planner, Moscow Edition.

  • Were at the VDNKH in August 2016, there has not been a year 2-3. Everything changed for the better. Beautifully around the flowers, many places for recreation, many exhibitions do not require prior ticket or write, works most of the pavilions. To visit.

  • We visited on a weekend of autumn and was filled with many attractions. It is interesting to see the grandeur of Moscow and observe local people having fun. Nice walk if you're a good climate.

  • I remember this place from like, 10 years ago. It was a mess with literally nothing there. Now it's top. Clean, comfy, normal restaurants and variety of fast-food places, entertainment... They've earned 5 stars from me. One of my favourite places in Moscow
  • It's amazing. Huge park. With lots of open areas, that people enjoy roller skating, cycling, etc. The buildings are beyond beautiful. On holidays you can find an amusement park inside, many options for drinks and very delicious foods. Also, it has several hangars in which each one of them tells a feature or historic event from the Soviet Union. Worth it.
  • Clean and pleasant area, with many opportunities of walking\riding\rolling\.. and exploring galleries from all over the country (ex-USSR). Great reconstruction.
  • Fine Park with great exhibitions of vostok rocket and Russian turbo fan jet, cool Lake with inexpensive row boat rental and a1970'S Soviet restaurant
  • Consider this just as a large park with lots of open spaces. The central avenue looks great. Not many exhibits open though. I imagine it will be much more interesting place to visit in a year or two as they add more exhibits.
