  • Exhibition of works by famous Chinese artist Jackie Tsay, ukrasivshego GUM, takes place at the Moscow Museum of modern art on Gogol Boulevard. In the world he is known as author of flower skulls for the fashion house Alexander McQueen, and I especially appreciated the ironic attitude of the artist to the Americans.

  • Visit this museum with all its subsidiaries about 10 times per year. And always it is very interesting and it always opens the mind. The last time was on exhibition on Gogol Sung by Jackie. Entrance to Museum 1 250 or 300 rubles, to all museums-500 rubles. This museum is an oasis of contemporary world art in Russia.

  • Prior to this, the author's name I have heard only by reading about the scandalous exhibition "caution: religion!" (2003) and "Forbidden art" (2006). And the first surprise experienced by reading his biography on the show and finding no mention of them. I do not think that this is an internal censorship curators, rather poor organization materials. This convinced further reading explanatory text on the walls of the Museum. The importance of jeksplikacionnogo (instructional) text in exhibitions of contemporary art have to say no, in most cases without him — all visitor opinion limited to the question: "what kind of grass smoked artist?". The exhibition Kosolapov these texts are written with gross errors (spelling, grammar, awkward. Omission of letters and words. The repetition of the same paragraph). Feeling that wrote an old African-American who just started learning Russian, when he saw an image of Lenin on the canvases Kosolapov. Further discussion on the work of curators is meaningless.
