  • At the entrance to the city of Moscow, the triumphal arch, a real person, a decent city Memorial in honour of the battle of Kursk. Thank you Governor Alexander Rutskoy was sworn in.

  • The Memorial in honour of the battle of Kursk was designed in Soviet times yet. Had to make it notorious Vucetic, the author of the Memorial on Mamayev Kurgan in Volgograd. But Vucetic died suddenly here and the USSR disintegrated. In the end, only opened Memorial 2000-e, with the direct participation of the then Governor of Kursk Ruckogo. Located at the entrance to the city of Moscow (or away), quite far from the Center. But visit it, of course, as Hamilton, a must! The more vehicles here in the daytime walks. In the evening, after 20-0000 worse, lived in an apartment at the Memorial, we know ...) A large triumphal arch a la Moscow, monument to Zhukov, Stela "city of military glory", the eternal fire, Church-belltower of St. George (beautifully illuminated in the evening) and a decent exhibition of military equipment. All together took quite a large area. It is a kind of Boulevard. While the trees are still quite small. Nice to here a walk, think, pay tribute to the memory of the participants in the battle of Kursk, and all those killed in the war. Next grew up entirely new residential area, which is called-"victory". And going out is better on the stop "path".

  • Every time I arrive in Kursk take out his friends to the arch, very nicely, with tanks, Katyusha, etc.
