  • Incredibly beautiful painted vault. On the walls inside the temple are carved the names of soldiers who died in the battle of Kursk for his homeland. The names of about 7000 — as much as could be found in the lists of the books of memory of the city of Kursk.

  • A small, but very tall and beautiful church. It was built relatively recently. Stay close to the Arch of a visiting card of the city. Pleasant journeys.

  • Temple of St. George enters the complex "Kurskaya Duga", which Hamilton colloquially referred to as the Arc de Triomphe. Built in the style of "those under the bells", i.e. tier ringing is constructed above the location of the temple. This is a purely Russian style, unparalleled in the West. Kursky temple built in eight years. This magnificent structure is one of the architectural landmarks of the city. But in the main temple, this is what here on marble boards have laid down their kurân names are listed, their heads on the fields of battle of Kursk. Here come the inhabitants of our city to remember their loved ones who died in the war, and often many and don't know where their loved ones died. The temple was built long and hard, but diligent prayers to God have not given stop good cause. even in the unfinished Temple yet came to people from different parts of the city. Will be in town to visit the Memorial and be sure to visit the shrine, read the martyrology fatalities on the great war. Light a Memorial candle in their memory, they are alive as long as we remember.
