Categories: Sacred & Religious Sites, Historic Sites, Tourist Spots
Inspirock Rating:
4.8/5 based on 340+ reviews on the web
Perched on the top of a hill, Paraskeva Pyatnitsa Chapel offers views of the city. Notice the padlocks on the fence of the observation deck, placed by wedding couples as a declaration of their love for each other. The small, octagonal, brick chapel in Old Russian style replaced a decaying wooden one in 1855. Look for a granite memorial plaque on the east front of the building commemorating the day in 1887 when Russian scientist and radio inventor Aleksander Popov observed the solar eclipse from the chapel. • Sitting serenely on top of a hill overlooking the city is this gorgeous little chapel.Every day at 12:00hrs the Canon below is used by the military just to make sure everyone is awake!!!!!
  • Perhaps the most famous place in Krasnoyarsk, from there overlooking the entire city, especially beautiful in the evening or at night when the town is burning in flames. The chapel appears on the 10rublëvoj Bill, so many are photographed against the backdrop of the Bills. Considered one of the most famous places for lovers in Krasnoyarsk.

  • If you are in Krasnoyarsk-what is necessary to see this church. After all, she is depicted on a 10-minute ruble banknote. I thought it more. Standing on a hill.
