Archeopark, Khanty-Mansiysk

Located at the foot of a steep glacial hill, Archeopark showcases a selection of lifelike statues of prehistoric animals and humans. The geological and archaeological monument features life-sized mammoths, bison, deer, wolves, bears, and woolly rhinoceroses, as well as human ancestors who shared the planet. An archaeological exhibit examines life in the community throughout history. At night all the statues are lit by multicolored lights. Admission is free; the park is easily reachable from the city center by car and public transportation. • Were in Khanty-Mansiysk not once, every time we visit Archeopark, interesting to both kids and adults, only cold in the winter).

  • I advise everyone to visit the Archeopark. There is a water park. It is a pity that we did not know about its existence, otherwise it would be visited.

  • Huge area filled with sculptural groups: mammoths, bison, wolves, Tigers, horses, deer, primeval people. Beautiful evening lights. Near the picturesque mountain with pines on the slopes. Next to Arheoparkom Palace of ice and water park. Winter in the territory only for a walk. Café and catering outlets there. Not crowded (at least in winter). Next to a large parking lot.
