Bridge Tourist Spot
Take in panoramic views of the city and river from Millenium Bridge, the highest bridge in the city. Spanning 835 m (2740 ft) and completed in 2005 in time for the city's millennium, the bridge is constructed so that its supporting pillars form a large M, in commemoration of the millennium. Stroll along the pedestrian walkways for excellent views of the city, lean on the railing and watch the water slip by, and take a moment to watch the people coming and going. The bridge also provides access to Gorky Park. Use our Kazan trip itinerary builder to arrange your visit to Millenium Bridge and other attractions in Kazan.

  • One of 4 bridges linking the two banks of the Kazan. The road surface is relatively good. Peak hours are usually Cork (morning in toward the Center, toward evening, Novo-savniovskogo district). There is also a walking trail. Pretty broad. Use velosipidisty, where at times more than pedestrians. From the bridge is beautiful watching the sunset.

Where to stay in Kazan

Home to numerous sights and known as the Third Capital of Russia, the city of Kazan is the prime destination in Tatarstan. The city boasts a selection of accommodations to match every taste and budget. While it may lack the extravagance of some of Moscow's high-end hotels, it still offers a good selection of both modern and historical luxury lodging. Most of the city's best-known hotels sit relatively close to the center, so you don't have to worry about long commutes. Venture just beyond the center to find several smaller boutique hotels, bed and breakfasts, and hostels, as well as numerous fully furnished apartments available for short-term rental.
