  • The temple is remarkable primarily because it is the main shrine of Kaluga Kaluga-the icon of the mother of God. This icon in many copies and lists circulated in other churches of the city and region, but the original is here (from the entrance on the left ahead). It is very dark, probably in drying oil, darkened setting there. Interesting frescoes pre-revolutionary architecture building, cast-iron staircase leading to the Tower, outside
