  • Small interesting local history museum staff will gladly answer all your questions about all tell and explain. Go, you won't regret it, a lot of exhibits, though, some too small. We wish expanded and updated!

  • Something strange we have sometimes using historic buildings. It seems that the powers that be or not competent advisers on culture, or they did not need to be characterized. Wonderful Manor House is absolutely not suitable for expositions of the Museum of local lore, because good by itself. The abundance of beautiful finishes, moldings and paintings cannot be background for Windows with exhibits. They are not combined, there is a simple porridge, which you can compare with the simultaneous execution of 2 musical compositions. Who visited the Moscow farmstead Kuskovo, can easily imagine how it would look if in her apartment would like to place the Museum with lots of cabinets. Is there no other suitable building in Kaluga, the same House of creativity of youth? A farmstead is valuable in itself and I would like to see it without a pile-up that showcases, covering painting, disfiguring the walls with beautiful mirrors. Make good 2 in one clearly failed. And another Museum of Kaluga. In many rooms on the ceiling cracked, requiring repair, otherwise painted ceilings will begin to fall away.

  • Visited the Museum January 5, 2017 the good thing is that in the new year holidays the Museum organized a national team tour in 2:00 pm two hundred rubles. per person and us in detail told about every Hall and almost about each exhibit. Of course the Museum needs restoration, but financing think problem. And so anyway I liked the Museum. But observations will make a museum can draw conclusions. 1. We were told that the tour would be 45 min, and was in fact of 1.5 h. We have planned after other events and lining. 2. The guide devotes far too much time building materials comprising the House and each room, as well as the location of doors, etc. but was not told about the historical past of the city of Kaluga, only with Polish-Lithuanian intervention. 3. On the first floor of the nature also like to listen to the Guide, but the object is not included in the tour. But anyway thanks, because the Museum is just so go and look, not knowing what it was about, it would be quite uninteresting.

  • Simple, expositions and exhibits of old. Of interest to kids-there are bronze frog that kvakaet, if it is ironed on the back. A beautiful staircase to the second floor. And the second floor of the Museum much more interesting prtjatnee first.

  • A good Museum. Building merchant unimpressed. And so the usual Museum.

  • The exhibits are in satisfactory condition, the price could be better. The exposition is not interesting. The building itself is run-down. Squeaky floors. Scary, untidy gaiters, where you need to go to the Museum. The staff is not gregarious. In the outbuilding not allowed on the grounds that the worker had already left (before the end of the working day even 30 min.). Next to the Museum of Gingerbread, where more "history" but also with gingerbread and herbal tea.
