  • Such a collection of stones I saw for the first time. These unique stones, so beautifully presented, signed. Take the tour-this will allow you to broaden your horizons enough comparable with a course on mineralogy. A stone Chair made of jade. Semi-precious stones strike your colors, sizes.

  • The Museum was originally created for the students of the University, so the collection is more scientific. If you are a man, fascinated by geology, you it will be more interesting than someone who simply enjoys the stones. Since I am the second group, half of the information I was unclear. Probably, you had to pay for the trip, and the price was quite acceptable-500 rub., but I was with my husband, but I don't speak Russian, so we examined exposure themselves. What we liked: large quantities of collected articles of charoite, jade, tourmaline. There are also gold and silver metals, which in other museums I haven't seen. In the Museum there are enthusiastic about their work and friendly people. There is a small shop where you can buy not so expensive jewelry from stones (I was looking for exactly charoite), however, selection is small. That is not good with her husband as an alien for admission took 50 rub. more than me (entrance for citizens of Russia 100 USD), but what on Earth?! It is outrageous that foreigners pay more, and English translations of virtually no (translated names only primary partitions). Photographing pay-100 rubles.

  • Visited here for the first time this summer and I am very glad that such a museum exists in our city. A group of high school students from Moscow (45 people) with a genuine guide listened as much as an hour and a half!!
