Inspirock Rating:
4.1/5 based on 500+ reviews on the web
Pop into the boutique shops, cafes, bars, and souvenir shops, all housed in traditional Irkutsk wooden houses, lining 130 Kvartal. Some of the wooden buildings have been transported from other locations throughout the county, and others were constructed to blend in with the original structures in the area. Guarding the entrance to the area is a monster bronze babr, the mythical beast featured on the Irkutsk municipal coat of arms. Be sure to take advantage of the outdoor seating to capture a view of the nearby river. • OK, you can work there if you have nothing to do, there are a lot of cafes there and a good museum. Also you can made good photo with symbol of city - Babr (like tiger)
  • The most popular place in Irkutsk. There are a lot of restaurants, bars, coffee places and a big shopping mall too. You can even visit some museums there. Highly recommended.
  • Made for tourists. A nice walk along the pedestrian street, live in one of the hotels. But authentic renovated wooden houses are much prettier.
