  • The museum itself is not bad, but not more (in my opinion). Neither historical nor local lore departments I didn't personally interested. Underground tunnels with with Frost worthy of attention, sometimes right very nicely. However, if we consider that the way to finance Igarki is very expensive, I'm not sure whether this museum. Rather, it will be interesting for more scientists, rather than mere tourists. Conclusion: specifically, at its own expense, for the sake of this museum I'd not gone. However, if the will case you find yourself in igarka, the Museum will be required to visit.

  • Certainly, this museum-home (Yes, perhaps the only) attraction of the Igarki. It was founded in tunnels Igarskoj merzlotnoj stations (which have been studying permafrost). Here always subzero temperature (average minus 5 degrees), so that visitors to this fact in mind, and dress warmly. "Ice caves" is 150 squares, here you can admire the beauty of ice build-up, vmorožennymi in ice plants, as well as to get acquainted with the remains of relict trees and unique collection of ICES (the most ancient kind of ice was brought from the Icy mountains, he more than 50 thousand years). In addition to "ice caves" in the Museum there are divisions of nature and local history, where stuffed animals living on the northern edge of household objects of indigenous peoples, etc., and there are also two historical divisions: one can acquaint themselves with the history of the construction of the railroad "Salekhard-igarka», in another-explore the history of Igarki and the formation of polar aviation.

  • This museum 3 in 1. I.e. in essence here 3 different museums: the Museum of local lore, 503 Object and permafrost. Two small house-the first is the local history museum, its exhibits match the theme of the Museum: stuffed animals, vintage household items local residents, etc. directly under local history museum, is a Museum under the ground of permafrost (before there was a scientific station for research on permafrost). The most interesting-slices of soil, where just seen what is permafrost (see photo). Set of exhibits not rich-a little working tools mid 20th century. The second House is a museum Object 503, about the people who built this ill-fated railroad ... Definitely need a guide, otherwise it would be no fun. All the fun for 1 person worth 263.
