Safari Park, Gelendzhik
(4.6/5 based on 650+ reviews on the web)
Learn about Russia's wildlife and visit the furry residents at Safari Park, the first animal rehabilitation center on the coast of the Black Sea. The animals sheltered here have been found wounded or motherless or were brought in from Russian circuses. The park keeps them in comfortable, open-air cages. The ride on a chairlift to the top of the ridge offers views of the city and the bay from 640 m (2,100 ft) above sea level. Check out the exhibit From the Depth of Ages and Waters at the marine museum, and visit the first artificial cave in Russia. • Safari Park itself is located on a fairly steep slope that is not very convenient. Animals are pretty much, they look well groomed, although most of them are too small. At the top of the cable car has a specific platform with an overview of the Bay.

  • Very nice Park, great, lots of different animals. An interesting view on the bears-glass floor, many are afraid to walk on it))). Visit will not regret

  • Positive: Nice park, all animals look good and veries (tigers, bears, pumas etc )It is very clear and decorated well (a lot of flowers, tuya, pines). There is a spectacular view of Gelendzhik Bay from the top point of safari park. Tickets a little bit expensive even for off season time and working days. Lift to 620 meter point is included a safary ticket - cost about 1400 rubles. Negative: If you choose to left up on carusel to observe the bay without viziting safari they will charge you 2000 rubles!! What a scheme. another minus safari is located on the side of the hill so if you are elderly it is not a good place to visit. cafe menu are poor and not tasty. (better take sandwiches with you) and bottle of water is double priced.
  • Tourists love it
  • A wonderful park. Purely interesting. There is something to see. Really enjoyed dining at the teiritorii Park, the best in town, tasty and friendly, highly recommend. Wonderful Black Sea Museum and cave. One drawback is the road to the Park. If you come by taxi, and will have to leave too by taxi only three expensive. "Free shuttle buses" are free if you bought the ticket from the dealers, and beg the driver bus and another pay him as there is no other transport. Little trifle but not nice.

  • Here's what's important visit if you come on holiday in Gelendzhik and its surroundings! Lots of positive emotions. A wonderful Safari Park with many exotic animals. Making good Park. And be sure to visit the ropeway. Such emotions I haven't experienced before. And when you come to the party and adorable review of Gelendzhik, bays and an awareness of what you're worth 640 meters above sea level, is neperedovaemye.

  • No normal parking! If you go in the direction of Novorossiysk, the most logical to wrap the pointer to the right and then it turns out that the car is no place to put. Those five places that there are already busy. And the type of "parking" in the form of macadam on reclaimed land, was left on a course of movement, and turned it denies conceded. and just two lanes, and solid. Single tickets .... well a typical tourist industry, main snatch. I was in the Safari Park three times already. I brought the child to see animals, I don't want to go to a museum or a cave. It used to be better when tickets just for logging in the park itself, and other museums paid then separately, well if anyone wants to see. Upstairs to do nothing except eat Chowder and watch from the heights of the Bay. Oh and take a ropeway:) Well, as the ZOO .... Here I wonder what to look for and who to look at. In General, visit the Safari Park worth.
