  • In such places go only during excursions, because attitudes towards religion have peculiar. However, Gatchinsky Cathedral left a very good impression. It is cozy. Beautifully. Near icons stand flowers. Jashchichki for handouts are subscribed (which specifically collect). And for the first time, this is not a negative. Really liked the booth with information. I still was nowhere to be seen. I think it is really useful. (see photo to the recall) were practically before closing. Neither tourists nor all knowledgeable attendants. Only peace and quiet-the most important thing that should be present in such places.

  • Unusual temple architecture: and domes and iconostasis. Inside beautiful, worth a peek, left a good impression.

  • Pavlovsky Cathedral-the main temple, built in honor of Paul I the Cathedral a little pompous. There are upper and lower churches. Has its own Holy Maria Gatchina. Very nice interior. Located on a small hill. The temple is a pedestrian street Collegiate (formerly Soviet), it offers excellent views of the Cathedral.
