Place at the amateur art murals and religious antiquity. It's certainly not a monastery and never they will be gone. This museum, a very serious and thoughtful.

Partly agree and rudeness, rudeness and hidden under the guise of honesty and concern for the middle. But I would point out that the phenomenon is exquisite and the apparent ehidstvom. Type pripjorlis, your questions are not going to answer? The monastery is not big and no impressive. Yes and rode just for the sake of the frescoes and murals in the temple. Not a prude, not a major specialist in this area, and not even a subtle connoisseur. But all that is being touted as "everything" really looks like a clumsy attempt to artists-primitives, types of Niko Pirosmani. Was hoping to see highly artistic work, and saw a bunch of almost identical portraits of extremely low quality, not in terms of security, but in terms of painting. All explanations of Nina Alexandrovna (historian by education), which conducted a tour and then respond to questions come down to the utilitarian explanation that "prividilos artist (through the dream mind) and that was supposedly the will of God". And no facts, at least something resembling a reasonable explanation. But in the film, before the view makes it clear that Donisij was a disciple of the great Michelangelo, da Vinci, etc. Although lived in different times and in different countries. See a bad disciple from him ... Therefore, like most Orthodox canons orthodoxy all comes down or "prividilos" or "this is the will of God" in short, extremely disappointed, but even more convinced that too many facts remain unexplained. And maybe it's me "prividilos", and in fact this unrecognized genius? Like everything else, fabricated from the finger! Then what is it expressed? Prividevshihsja Dionysia in dreams or still in its primitive "'s" very far from classical painting?

Our journey from Nizhny Novgorod to the village of Ferapontovo in Vologda Oblast. It was a leisurely and route passed through the town of suzdal (257km), Yaroslavl (194 km), Vologda (197 km), Cherepovets (136 km)-this is not a compulsory link Kirillov (100 km), Ferapontovo (20 km). Subtotal-904 km! but it was worth it!))) The road is good, except the Yaroslavl region. -way better than to reduce it and go along the M8, and pieces in 20 km to Kirillova. I think the Sistine Chapel was more Russian than in Ferapontove-a unique worldwide location! Here you can Stay. Enjoy. Be inspired. Russian land and holy places need our attention! Travel themselves, travel with friends)))
