  • A House that belonged to a wealthy family, 18TH-century was restored to show how he lived the bourgeoisie. The environments are trying to reconstruct the atmosphere of the time, including objects that have been found hidden during reconstruction, and thus escaped the revolution. Other buildings of the property are being restored as well.

  • The farmstead is located in Gali Cherepovec ashore Sheksna River. This is, in fact, Central zarechnaya part of Cherepovets. VERY IMPORTANT! Getting here and around (all available maps do not reflect motion algorithm and pointers on the route almost none)! Get better on their own vehicles or on the tour bus. -passes "cable-stayed bridge in the direction of the district; -at the first traffic light turn left; -straight about 1 km until roundabout; -at the roundabout turn left; -straight 100 meters before crossing the "old road"; -turn to the right (along the River from "the bridge"); -After 800 meters on the left side of the road, the bus stop. A little earlier, in the foliage of trees, barely noticeable arrow sign "Farmstead Gali"; due to the bus stop turn left; -on the narrow paved walkway ahead 200 meters up to the gate of the Manor. There is good parking and turning area for transport. "Homestead" consists of several objects: the "House" (the main subject of the show), barn, blacksmith, stables, summerhouse, two houses for workers. Each object is interesting and compare them to "interestingness" think is pointless. Kids love stables, adult-House. In a good hot weather very well perceived by cool barn. Visit prices affordable. A visit to the territory, free of other objects to 100 rubles (without excursions), with a guided tour, of course, more expensive. Tickets can be purchased at "home". The main value of the exposition, in my opinion, it is in the professional tours. Without the extra knowledge you can easily pass by very interesting artifacts of the ethnographic and historical Museum. Recommend this Museum for all true lovers of history!

  • The Manor originally belonged to another family Gali, too rich (Andrei Kudrâvomu). But Gali, second cousin of the famous Russian artist V. V. Vereschagin was a prudent owner and transformed it, making it truly a gem of wooden architecture of the first third of the 19th century. Everything in farmstead preserved with love, it is an atmosphere of what distant time. Coming here, you feel comfortable and easy, like back in those early difficult, but surprisingly clean times of Russian life. I advise to visit the estate at least in order to restore peace and balance, enjoy the atmosphere of the past. Guides carefully, but competently immerse visitors in the distant interesting past and go oduhotvorënnoj and filled with not only information, but also grace.
