  • The manor was inside a territory of abandoned tuberculosis sanatorium..went during evening and there wasnt anyone except me and my friends,it did look a little creepy but anyway it was a special exper...  more »
  • Architectural magnificence, stunning caryatids, staircase with a fence the Bazhenov-all among grew trees and shrubs, herbs, penetrating between the raskolovshimisja marble slabs. Fatigue from the time that descendants of magnificence can not or rather do not want to keep.

  • Tired of the hustle and bustle of the big city, looking for quietness, history and nature decided to make a spontaneous trip to Homestead Bykovo. Why this hotel? 1-Church unusual for Russia, architecture, 2-near Moscow, 3-nature and solitude, 4-conflicting reviews. We are very lucky to reach your destination without traffic jams Saturday in ... And the first thing we saw was the Church of the Vladimir icon of the mother of God. Will not describe our feelings, everyone must make up your mind, but I will say one thing-an unusually magnificent structure, vobravshee in various architectural styles. Probably for the year 1789 the project V.i. Bazhenov was very brave and extraordinary. Two-storey Church (stairs to the 2nd floor is under construction), so indoors on the 1st floor of unusual to see a smooth ceiling. And the rest is real acting Orthodox Church with a fairly strict rules visit in terms of clothing and photography (inside the Church can be photographed only with the permission of the Rector). Bypassing the territory the Church several times, we tirelessly pursued.
