  • Bogoroditsky Palace Museum and Park is located in the former Manor of counts Bobrinsky in Bogorodicke Tula region (240 km from Moscow). The Palace, built by the project I.e. Starova, done in the style of early classicism. It is not only part of the Palace and park ensemble, but also the center of the Bogoroditsk. No wonder after the war, when it was decided to blow up the remains of the Palace, the local residents were in favour of its retention and began work on the dismantling of the destroyed building. Five main streets fanning out diverge away from the Palace. In one line is lined with driveway, the main line of the House, a park with a pond and the main street of the city, on which each other watching the monuments of Catherine II and Vladimir Ilyich. Take the tour necessarily, learn and see many interesting things.

Its history is associated with protection from enemies of the southern borders of medieval Muscovy. In the year 1663 by Decree of Tsar Alexei mikhailovich was built a wooden fortress, then in a defensive line-Zasechnuju line. Scattered around the fortress Streltsov, farmers and artisans. The entire Hill on which stood the fortress was littered with bogoroditskoj grass. Now we call it thyme or thyme, add as a seasoning to the meat or fish, make tea with it. And while the artists used this herb for making blue paint-it vykrashivali the shroud to icons of the Theotokos. Hence the name of the city-Adelaide. Coat of arms of County town Bogoroditsk Tula province was Royally approved 8 (19) March 1778 onwards. And in the year 1765 along with Earth village Odontology amounted to his own parish of Catherine II. Even three years later Adelaide became referred to as the settlement, but in conjunction with the provincial reform, his 1777 again erected in a rank of the city. In 1771-1784, on the high left bank of the river Upjorty, where the first Church was a fortress, was built the Palace and park ensemble of counts Bobrinsky. Is the Center Palace Bogoroditsk. • Wonderful well maintained park that has historical value-it is the first infinity (English) Park in Russia and was founded in the 18th century Russian scientist-into a naturalist Andrey Bolotov. In the Palace Museum quite interesting, the exposition is dedicated to mainly Bobrinskim-owners of the Manor also has a small exhibition of samovars and costumes. Hall on the top floor is dedicated to artificial crystals, which were made on God plant of technochemical products.
