  • Small square-and not entirely intuitive orientation of the Museum. about the history of pre-revolutionary Astrakhan. The Museum is suitable for 30 minutes while away the time before lunch or leaving. Does not feel patriotism. Location very good, would like to see and smiled-friendly, why not. It was the House-Museum of the Chernyshevsky was more interesting for young people, school children, students and pensioners. And now the children are not at all interesting.

The building is an ancient, historical and, from this point of view interesting-what was the climate in the merchant houses of the time than people wondered how they lived ... In Astrakhan is particularly-as are many houses of the period, unfortunately, in good condition is less and less ... The exposition is not such a great themed exhibitions, Museum development necessary. ...

  • The Museum was opened in the year 150-year anniversary of N.g. Chernyshevsky and functioned as literary. In the year 2000 in a new Museum Exposition tells about the history of culture. If you like Astrakhan or want to know more about this old city, this museum is well worth a visit. In addition, the Museum is housed in a historic building, which is an architectural monument of Federal significance.
