Astrakhan Kremlin, Astrakhan

(4.9/5 based on 480+ reviews on the web)
Discover what life was like in the 19th-century military reservation at Astrakhan Kremlin. For centuries, the fortress was an inapproachable stronghold on the Russian southern border. It became a part of the historical and architectural reservation museum in 1980. See the clothes and other artifacts that belonged to peoples of the Lower Volga, and the elements of soldiers' armaments and ammunition. Check out the exhibit dedicated to the history of civil commotion and corporal punishments. Apart from two museums and fortification walls, the complex features seven towers, officer's houses, and soldier's barracks, as well as several cathedrals, churches, chapels, and a house of clergy. • Not that I was amazed by what he saw, but just a bit shocked, grandly, purely, all steeped in the faith of the most beautiful cathedrals, pretty much bears traces of the hectic activity of Peter the first Volga? Volga impressed. rapidly growing City, the heat somehow cozy was last summer

  • During our travels were three exhibitions-ancient House, excavations, guardhouse and copies of Van Gogh and mummies. Looked at all. Everyone can choose according to your taste. Perect exhibition complex-at a modern level and there are interactive activities for children. Even raw and windy in the winter walk on the Kremlin is pleasant and interesting.

  • The Kremlin, one of the few places in that you must visit. I advise to visit the service in the current uspenskyi Cathedral Church. Decoration of 1 and 2 floors amazes with severity and at the same time. Arriving in Astrakhan-first, the visit of the Kremlin.
