  • Built in 1532 by Petru Rares ch reigned in Romania in two distinct periods has built several churches forticandole com walls and turrets to defend them from the Ottomans. First wanted outer and inner walls of the churches were decorated with frescoes depicting Saints, prophets and scenee of Jesus ' life. This Moldovita is one of the best preserved and was told that the paintings "were the Holy Scriptures in color". The predominant colors are blue and yellow and the outdoor paintings is particularly interesting the 626 siege of Constantinople with the city saved by the Persians for the intervention of our Lady. The entire West wall, on the porch, is covered by the judgment with a terrifying River of fire and the sea that returns the death. Impressive depiction; The Interior is completely painted with beautiful paintings and more vibrant colors, maybe because they are newer than the ones on the outside. Visit bewitching, attractive beyond words-

  • Rightly placed on the list of monuments protected by Unesco, is fortunately still a hidden gem and then again for a short distance from the crowds of tourists. So enjoy, as long as you're on time!. Highly recommended are the frescoes of the siege of Constantinople, which covers the southern outer wall, and the last judgment. in the porch of the Church.

  • Great place to visit!
  • We came group of 9 tourists from Israel to see this place. The ladies needed to go to the toilet after long ride, because we traveled to see specially this beautiful church . The people in the church, specifically the nun, refused to let the ladies to use the toilet, she sent them to another and far toilet which was closed. They cane back not before one of the lady couldn't hold her self, and after 15 long minutes she sent a...man with the key (!) to the ladies room, and while they were inside he demand 1 Lei... For using the toilet. This not a behavior. Not recommended. They don't deserve that I will publish photos. It was written also in TripAdvisor app.
