  • The Museum is located in the city centre, in unirii square. The Museum is free for students and costs 10 lei for adults. It houses temporary exhibitions, paintings Romanians, Italians, Germans, French and decorative art. The complete tour lasts about an hour and well worth it.

  • Be aware that if you come with a baby stroller, you will not be allowed to come in. Thought, at the entrance they said that there is no problem of going in, after bringing heavy stroller upstairs, the guard in a very humiliating way sent us out. Very disappointing.
  • Interesting but some of the political issues are very annoying. It’s really nice to visit once a year
  • Interesting exhibits. Temporary exhibits area is fairly large
  • The Art Museum of Timisoara is located in the so called Palatul Barok, which used to be an administrative building during the time when Timisoara belonged to the Austrian Empire. The fully renovated building is hosting high level Art Exhibitions. The Museum is well managed and is a must visiting point for any tourist coming to Timisoara, regardless if a special event is available or not.
  • Fascinateing!
