  • This is a quite peculiar Museum, consists of a series of cases that represent the Romanian peasants ' homes. Each is furnished with beds, cots, wardrobes etc. There are dishes, embroidery, curtains, clothes and everything you can find in a House. Very interesting because it allows you to understand how people lived. The Museum is easily accessible by bus or taxi which starts from 46 bastions for the modest sum of just over two euros. To remember that in Timisoara pensioners have free entrance to all museums

  • We visited on a sunny day, great place to see how the people lived back in the day. It has buildings from the region that are rebuild in the museum. Friendly people and just a short taxi ride away fro...  more »
  • Out of town a total of 15 houses bring them and left them to their fate. Out of 15 only 1 open. There is a guide but just dirt. The bathroom was so dirty as to look like a horror movie. No one speaks English or Italian. A waste of time and money

  • Surprising. Very peaceful. Great for a nice afternoon walk. The old houses are great. It's a pity it is neighbouring the Continental factory.
  • I guess it's OK. I dislike the restaurant near the entice, the smell is not so grate. Other than this it's a grate place to run from the city. Here aware of the mosquitoes.
  • Great place for hangout with friends or with your family. There are some cool spots for photographers to take some portraits, or even nature photography, because the houses are merging perfectly with the landscape. The Museum is situated near a forest.
  • Muzeul satului
  • Excellent relaxing places. You can view a lot of rural housing from all Romania areas. Nearly you can find a restaurant.
