  • Spectacular wooden Gallery on the wall, nice Tower. Remained a very small piece of the defense system, of course, would like to see the entire Center surrounded the fortress wall. Nearby is the Museum of natural sciences (can't remember-Zoological?) from his garden to us stared dinosaur. Looked over the fence and there placed paleontological exhibits.

  • Turnul dulgherilor or carpenters tower was built by this Guild in the 14TH century and form part of the third defensive belt of the city. It has undergone various changes over time, and its current form dates possibly from the beginning of the 16TH century; In addition, it has undergone several restorations; the last one in 2007. It is built in stone and brick on a circular base. Is little more than a five minute walk from Piața Mare. On the same street where it is located (Strada Cetății) are very close to other towers that were part of the defensive belt of the city, particularly the Tower of potters, to which is connected by an elevated passage.

  • Take a few hours to walk around in Sibiu. Not only around the main square, but also go a little further and you will see these old walls. Nice for taking pictures, romantic environment and not crowdy.
  • I had a wonderful time visiting all these beautiful places in Sibiu. And this place was definitely among them.
  • A friend of mine once asked me why the wall of the Historical town is facing south, then the said that's because the Ottomans were coming from the south. I don't know if that's the reason, or it's just a part of a very big round fortification wall but still a must-see objective.
  • The tower has the same medieval feel like the rest of the park. Nice view :)
  • Cool
