  • This is put together from all parts of the country a huge area with good roads, lots of old houses and windmills, all farms, etc. There are boards with very short or also more detailed explanations of each object. Unfortunately it can be as good as anywhere in. "Refreshments" were a popcorn-kiosk as well as at the Windmill restaurant. We were possibly out of season, so that it is not representative. The bus departs every hour, the tram (as far as we have to get it out) not. We have run from and to the city centre - not everyone will be thing. The distances vary. We walked along the road, about 75 minutes easy.

  • The Astra Museum is an absolute highlight of Sibiu. It is beautifully situated on a Creek and gives a good idea about the Romanian culture. The Astra Museum is particularly recommended for children.

  • A vast open-air museum presents constructions, economic devices, crafts and art from various regions of Romania. Both the architecture-mainly wooden-and applied arts are at a very high level, providing the need for beauty as the elemental values of ogólnoludzkiej. Really a pity that they are not offered for sale some replica exhibits, especially pottery. Property in very good condition, exposure is continually. The workaround, planted flowers and vines in some farm animals. The only minus is the asphalt alleys, out of place in the Museum. The restaurant offers excellent traditional cuisine at very reasonable prices. Support efficient and friendly staff. It is worth to come and spend pleasant, unhurried afternoon.

  • A great place where you can see old traditional houses that are very beautiful. Perfect for an insight on how life was going in the rural parts of Romania until almost a century ago.
  • Great outdoor museum, with many old houses and a lot of history.
  • Great place where you can see the houses of former Romania all its edges. The park is almost 1,000 acres and takes several hours until the roundabout.
  • Really good place to get a view on Romanias history. Lots of historical houses and water driven old machinery. Definitively worth a visit!
  • We had a good time there but everything was entrance forbidden so you can't really see the interior of the houses, which is a pitty. Also, there weren't any explanations about anything, nor how the houses or mills were built or used. Really recommendable but it could be better.
