  • I never earlier did not hear about the icons on glass, so it was very interesting to visit the Museum, where gathered the largest collection of such icons in Romania. It collected the late priest from local farmers, and the collection includes artifacts from various regions of Romania. He is absolutely not similar to regular icon on the tree and writing technique is different entirely. Very interesting. The Museum also has one unusual Church, I recommend to go inside and see. Version of the Church resembles a cathedral. Sophia in Istanbul. Take pictures inside the Museum you can for a fee in 15 lei.

  • Located in the small village of Sibiel, on the same grounds where the Church and the cemetery, are also is a Museum built in the Decade of the 80s thanks to the priest Zosim Oancea. It has currently more than 600 icons on glass, in naive style, some with more than 200 years old, which makes it Europe's largest such Museum. In addition to the icons on glass, it also houses icons on wood, ceramics, furniture, books and painted eggs. The entrance fee is 5 lei adults, 3 kids lei and 15 lei photography rate. Open daily from 8 to 13.30 and from 14 to 20 hours. You can park in the vicinity.

  • A museum that is worth the trip (downside: it is not indicated on the road, a good gps allows to overcome this difficulty) a lovely, the responsible, conservative of the Museum expressed very well in French and we did the honours of the Museum, and the lovely small Orthodox Church in adjacent. In addition we had the chance to visit all at a "time hollow", and we feasted.
