  • Beautiful panoramic view of Rasnov, I was amazed by how this cetate remained well over time. You can see ruins are houses, schools, etc. Entrance quite cheap. There is a train that brings people from the parking lot to the entrance for a few she

  • we went with elevator..nice panorama! about city,so is very good renovated. music, boxes with souvenirs..very nice! price for entrance ,normal...I recommend all of you.downtown is cute!
  • Nice view from inside the citadel. Only needed 1 hour or even less to visit it. Well preserved and lots of souvenir shops inside. Worthy

  • An old peasant castle which ofers great views from the top to the Bugeci and Piatra Craiului National Parks. You can decide to walk, ride by a chu-chu or take a funicular. It was conquered only once by a hungarian prince, never by the otomans. Inside you can find an old well dug for 17 years in order to have water inside the walls of the fortification.
  • The place is really nice, you can go up either by a train or walk up, the price is 5 Lei per person, and you can either be dropped in the Dino park or near the fortress. You have to pay another admission fee to enter both but the view in the fortress at least is worth it, you can walk inside, there are some shops who sell souvenirs. Overall I think it is worth it but there are more impressive castles in Romania
  • The staff @ the elevator and the fortress is really cool. Who's in charge with the place clearly is openminded and the fortress itself is impressive. You have an amazing view from there. I recommend taking the stairs back to the city.
  • The fortress is on a really nice spot on top of the hill overlooking the mountain, with Poiana Brasov as a great backdrop! The outer walls and fortifications are in a good state, especially the first gate tower. Inside, a bit of repair is needed, and they could do with a bit less of all-the-same souvenir shops; if you had just ~5, but in turn would open up more buildings to as actual exhibitions, that it would be much appreciated. Still, a great place to see!
  • Beautiful place to visit. So much history for an evening walk in Rasnov
