  • It was very quiet in Piatra Neamt the day we explored the square where the Romanian Orthodox Church of Nativity of St. John the Baptist is located. This church was established by Stephen the Great of ...  more »
  • We went back after quite some time, and the surprise was pleasant really. Although cold outside we strolled and now once finished work la piazzetta is really beautiful. Practically is the historic centre of Piatra Neamţ with three monuments dated 1400-1500: the Church "biserica domnească Nașterea Sf.Io an Botezatorul" Turnul Curții Domnești Clopotniță-and muzeul. Going down the stairs you find Teatrul Tineretului (Youth Theatre) and opposite the College "Petru Rares". Now that the works are finished virtually the square has plenty of tranquility, away from cars, traffic being channelled under the step.

  • Set in a beautiful square standing on a hillock easily accessible by stairways well laid out, very clean and decorated with flowers. A beautiful place to visit. but well equipped in this city, an exceptional place! Rich in monuments, easily accessible from anywhere in the city, place on a large square Causeway, Immediately close the Tower of Stephen the great, to the Church of San Giovanni and the Art Museum and the ethnographic museum. Benches everywhere and free space for pedestrians, are characteristic of many places like this to see and enjoy in peace, especially with children. I would stay here again.
