  • Ar trebui vizitat mai des! It should be visited more often!
  • Noone (including many romanians) know about the rich heritage of the cucuteni culture. There are many similarities with ancient Mesopotamian practices, far too many to be coincidental. When we visited we were the only ones in the museum. Although not for everyone, you may appreciate the beautiful and intricate pottery design and stylized female figurines.
  • 70% of the Cucuteni artifacts are in the museum. Impressive collection for a culture that is almost 7000 years old. I recommend it for anyone who is interested in the origins of Europe. This culture built large cities and were burning their homes constantly for funeral purposes or to be in order with the gods.
  • Very interesting artifacts
  • Friendly staff, beautiful place full of history. Visit and read about cucuteniana culture! There are statues and vessels used in the ritual of what purificari plus many other objects made of pottery.
