  • We came here from Sighisoara and we didn't expect for it to be that beautiful and peaceful! It's perfect for a one day visit and everything about it is charming and nice. Very well preserved buildings...  more »

  • Historical church, the center of the medieval city of Medias. A place full of history.
  • Classic evanghelic church, nicely preserved as well.
  • Typical of media, this typical fortified church has Transylvania. Funny detail, the base of the Bell Tower is offset from the top

  • The Church (it is not a Cathedral just because it has no "Chair", but merely theological Episcopal priest vicar, although generous size and beauty of the majestic-te urges a denumesti asa) has a splendid medieval architecture-Gothic, is wonderfully restored, with welcoming hosts-Guide, keen to present the history of formation of the place ... The Church has a pipe organ, restored original and functional, and Edith, along with organista priest vicar choral ensemble and argue for the holidays shows the medieval religious music and classical, a true delight for the spirit ... I had a happy occasion to be invited and attend such a concert on the occasion of new year 2016 intampinarii. Too bad we can't upload audio recordings made then (you can find them on my Face Book!). A wonderful evening with wonderful people, in a religious exception (sant few who know other precious ancient churches, religious and cultural monuments of medieval architecture, Transylvania, other than black church/Brasov, Sibiu Evangelical Cathedral, Metropolitan Cathedral of Alba Iulia, Godavarikhani or such ...). Sant objectives "must do" for any honest and informed visitor ... Success!

  • Beautiful and valuable (architectural) structure! Really need attention from the interior frescoes/paintings!
