  • Really nice and relaxing Lake almost Swiss scenery, great to visit in early summer, easy to get to a quarter of an hour from Hunedoara, in spite of the villages and houses you can tell a paradise surrounded by nature

  • A very beautiful place, with several pensions/ hostels around, boats and hydro-bicycles are available for rent. Access road is fine, with beautiful scenery, just a few kilometres from Corvin Castle  more »

  • Littoral in Hunedoara County, Cinciș Lake is a reservoir from jud. Hunedoara. Lake Cinciș is one of the largest lakes in it having a depth of 48 m, and an area of approximately 200 hectares. Construction started in the year 1957 when they began to build a concrete wall to obstruct the Cerna River Valley. After locals of the five villages Cinciș-Cerna, Mill Valley Ungurului, Ciuleni, Ploștii, Swazi Kings were his move from the bed of the Lake zone in the year 1962 after having filled the Lake over the old villages. Lake served as a reserve of water for industrial Steel Factory in principle. It is now a tourist attraction especially in summer, with campsites, hostels and hotels. It organises and contests, kayaking, pedal boats and tours with motor boats, it is also an excellent place for fishing, bathing or swimming. The "seaside" of Europe. Lake Cinciș to lake reservoir in Hunedoara county, one of the largest lakes of Transylvania with a maximum depth of 48 meters and a surface of about 200 ha. Construction began in 1957 when they've started building the concrete wall that would block the Cerna river valley. Afterwards the its inhabitants of five villages Cinciș-Cerna, Mill Valley Ungurului, Ciuleni, Plostii, Swazi Kings that were his, on the lake bed, were moved to higher grounds in 1962, than the lake was filled up over the old villages. The lake supplied water mainly to the industrial local steel complex of Hunedoara. Now it's a tourist attraction especially in the summertime with campsites, lodges, hotels. They are organizing canoe and kayaking competitions, jet ski and motorized boating trips are also an excellent place for swimming and fishing.
