The Horezu Monastery or Hurezi Monastery was founded in 1690 by Prince Constantin Brâncoveanu in the town of Horezu, Wallachia, Romania. It is considered to be a masterpiece of "Brâncovenesc style", known for its architectural purity and balance, the richness of its sculpted detail, its treatment of religious compositions, its votive portraits, and its painted decorative works.The monastery has been inscribed by UNESCO on its list of World Heritage Sites.

  • very nice architectural complex dating from the XVII century, well preserved and pleasant to discover, there is information in french explaining the historical context of this construction

  • The monument is very nice is really to visit, after as usual with religion people are closed and little friendly when little or no money there is win (as our Lady of paris or one little Flash a code QR to give...) after they welcome people free of charge for accommodation and dinner for those in need or to withdraw there is not only a bad
