It's a really small museum but would be on the way for most people visiting this region. Worth a stop for 5-10 mins. It captures some of the traditional ways of the region. Nothing spectacular.

The Folk Traditions Museum of Bucovina is a great introduction into the context of the region. You will soon understand that this is a cradle of living and ancestral traditions, legends, myths, superstitions that fascinate anyone at once. On St. Andrew's night the young women gather in the house of an old woman and watch the glittering surface of the water in the well bucket. Among the sparkles of light coming from a candle they will spot the face of their future husbands. The museum is one of the most vibrant I have experienced. If you are in the area it's a MUST!
This museum combines the old traditional settings, house wares, farm equipment, blacksmith tools, clothing and many other items with a very knowledgeable accounting of the folk lore from that period. The narrator was excellent in her narration of the good spirits, bad spirits, believing in Jesus, marriage, crops and many other facts from this period of history in Romania. We spent two hours there and it was well worth it.
